The Ride1Up Cafe Cruiser is a comfortable and functional eBike that can also accommodate a passenger.

The Cafe Cruiser is a Class 3 electric bike, which means it has a top speed of 28 mph with pedal assist and 20 mph using just the throttle. It is available in both step-thru and step-over models.

The optional passenger kit includes a passenger seat, two wheel guards for added safety and two foot pegs for the passenger’s feet. The maximum weight of a passenger is 150 pounds.

A 750-watt rear hub Bafang motor is paired to a 48V 15ah Reention Rhino battery which uses Samsung cells. Range on a single charge is 30-50 miles depending on rider weight, terrain, incline, and level of assist.

The drivetrain on the Cafe Cruise is Shimano Acura 8 speed, with an 11-32 tooth cassette. Braking is accomplished by Zoom hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors. The bike rolls on 26″ wheels wrapped in SandStorm 3″ eBike-specific tires. The front of the bike is home to a Mozo hydraulic lockout suspension fork with 80mm of travel.

In addition to front and back fenders, the Cafe Cruiser is equipped with a Buchel Shiny 80, 80 lux headlight and Velo Edge 48V tail light. The rear rack can hold 150 pounds and includes pannier mounts.

Both models of the Cafe Cruiser weigh 65 pounds and have a total payload capacity of 350 pounds (including rider).
