The Fat Murf eBike is the original fat tire beach cruiser and the bike that put Murf on the map. It is available in both a standard and step-through frame.

A 52v battery gives the Fat Murf an extra charge over the 48v battery found in most eBikes. The battery is paired with a 750-watt motor and with five pedal-assist modes, it has a range of 30-50 miles based on pedaling style.

A seven-speed Shimano drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes round out the bike’s core specs. As with most bikes in its class, the Fat Murf also has a front headlight.

The step-over version is suited for riders  5’7″  and taller, while the step-thru version fits riders  5’2” tall all the way to 6’6” tall.

The standard Fat Murf eBike comes in Obsidian Black or Desert Sand Matte colors and the step-thru is available in Obsidian Black Denim and Bone.

In 2016, Murf Electric Bikes was founded in California. The company was born based on the mission to find better surf with friends, more often and get to it faster and easier than ever before. Parking at Murf Founder Josh Jones’ favorite spots had become a hassle, and riding a regular bike to the more remote spots took too much time. Jones wanted something fast, powerful, reliable and comfortable. And it had to look good too. With a Beach Cruiser design and vibe, the Murf was born.
