The Lmacwey 16″ Basic Edition folding eBike shares a lot of specs with the premium edition, but costs much less.  Folding eBikes generally fit in the trunk of cars and are popular with riders who live in small spaces such as sailboats or recreational vehicles.

The Lmacwey Basic rolls on 16-inch wheels with 1.95-inch tires. Hydraulic disc brakes provide the stopping power and a hydraulic front suspension fork with lockout, dampens the ride. Instead of a belt-drive system, like the premium edition, the basic utilizes a standard chain drive with 9-speed shifter.

The top speed is about 16 mph from the 250-watt rear hub motor and the range is up to 50 miles per charge thanks to the 36V 7.8Ah seat post battery.

Weighing in at about 53 pounds, the Lmacwey 16″ Premium Edition has a weight limit of 265 pounds. When the bike is folded, it’s size is approximately 30x18x28 inches.

The display screen connects to the Uqbike iOS or Android app via bluetooth and offers navigation in addition to the standard metrics like speed, distance, battery level and pedal-assist mode.

Front and rear lights with turn signals are standard equipment.

The Lmacwey 16″ Basic Edition is offered in pink, gray, red and cyan color schemes and currently retails for $699 with free shipping at lmacwey.com.
