The Revv 1 moped eBike from Ride1up is redefining what electric bikes can do. When unlocked via “off-road” mode this mighty electric bike can reach speeds well over 28 mph.
A 1000-watt sustained geared hub Bafang motor with 95nm torque is paired with a 52V 20ah Samsung battery to give the Revv 1 a range of 30-60 miles.
When operated on roads, the Revv 1 eBike can reach a top speed of 28 mph with pedal assist, or 20 mph via throttle alone. But when the “Off Road” mode is unlocked, the Revv 1 can reach speeds reported at more than 35 mph. Off road mode, requires a waiver to be signed saying that the rider will not operate the bike on public roads.
