The Velowave Ranger 3.0 is the latest in the brand’s Ranger line of fat tire electric bikes.
The Ranger 3.0 rolls on 26″ wheels wrapped in 4″ Kenda Fat Tires.
Thanks to a 750-watt motor with peak output of 1,000 watts, the Ranger 3.0 has a top speed go 28 miles per hour in pedal assist mode. A removable 48-volt battery gives the bike a range of up to 90 miles on a charge.
A Shimano 7-speed RevoShift drive train pushes the pedals and hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors provide the stopping power.
The TFT easy read display features a backlight and colorful screen. Here you can see which of the five pedal-assist modes you’re in as well as other relevant ride data such as speed and distance.
The Velowave Ranger 3.0 weighs 83 pounds and has a weight limit of 300 pounds. In addition to a rear rack, full-coverage front and rear fenders are standard. A rear taillight that also serves as a brake light is rated at 20 lux, while a front 75-lux LED headlight helps light the path in front of you and provides visibility at night.
