The Engwe E26 is front-suspension fat-tire electric bike available in either a high-step or step-thru model.

The E26‘s aluminum alloy frame is home to 26×4-inch fatbike tires and a front suspension fork. Instead of rear suspension, the bike is equipped with a suspension seat post.

The 650-watt rear-hub motor produces 650 watts with peak output of 1,000 watts, which gives the bike a top speed of 28 mph. The 48v battery is mounted inside the frame and gives the Engwe E26 a range of up to 87 miles when in pedal assist mode.

A Shimano 7-speed drivetrain provides shifting, while hydraulic disc brakes stop the bike.

Safety features include a front headlight as well as a rear taillight. A rear rack rounds out the standard assets of the E26.

Both the high-step and the step-thru model retail for $999 at engwe-bikes.com. The bike is available in gem blue, bumblebee yellow and galaxy grey color schemes.
