The Engwe LE20 is an electric cargo bike that can accommodate more than 400 pounds of rider and cargo weight.
The LE20 has multiple cargo configurations, such as the standard kit which includes a padded seat and side skirts. A canvas bag, passenger kit, with side rails and foot pegs and cargo rack are also available.
A 750-watt rear-hub motor propels the LE20 to a top speed of 28 mph. With the optional second 48-volt battery, the bike’s range is up to 211 miles in pedal assist mode. With the standard single battery, maximum range is 109 miles.
Rolling on 20-inch wheels wrapped in 3-inch puncture-resistance tires, the LE20 utilizes hydraulic disc brakes and 180mm rotors to stop. Shifting gears is accomplished via a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, with a single front chainring.
Ride data such as pedal assist mode, battery charge level, speed and mileage is presented on an LCD color display. A headlight provides visibility and safety while a rear taillight has built in turn signals.
The sturdy aluminum frame is paired with an adjustable front suspension fork to help dampen any bumps in the road. Front and rear fenders, which keep water and road grime off the rider, are also included.
The LE20 weighs 81.1 lbs and is suitable for riders between 5.0 and 6.2 feet in height.
The Engwe LE20 cargo bike is available in blue or gray color schemes and single or dual battery configurations, starting at $1,249 at engwe-bikes.com.
