Pedal Electric H/T eBike announced

The Pedal Electric H/T, or HardTail, the latest bike from the California company, offers a  lighter, more agile ride without sacrificing power or style.

Touted as being “stripped down to the essentials” the H/T does have some interesting features such as a USB-C charging port, a hidden Apple AirTag holder, and the ability to set a password on the display.

The Pedal Electric H/T’s top speed of 28 mph is courtesy of a rear-hub 750-watt motor. The 48-volt battery, is cleverly mounted under the seat and gives the bike a range of up to 60 miles when in the lowest pedal-assist mode.

Adding to the H/T’s simplistic design, is the single-speed drivetrain. The brakes are no slouch, however. Hydraulic disc brakes are paired to a 203mm rotor up front and 180mm rotor on the rear wheel.

Speaking of wheels, the Pedal Electric H/T rolls on 4-inch all-terrain tires wrapped around 20-inch wheels. An aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum frame helps keep the H/T lighter than many eBikes at 60 pounds. The large seat can fit two passengers with a weight limit of 350 pounds.

A 34mm front suspension fork features adjustable compression and pre-load options.

Safety features include an 80 LUX LED headlight, brake-actuated taillight and Integrated AirTag holder beneath the seat for enhanced security and precise location tracking.

The Pedal Electric H/T is currently available in Onyx Black or Bone White for $1,900 at pedalelectric.com.
