The Vivi Ace01 is an all-terrain fat tire electric bike with a high-step aluminum alloy frame and hydraulic disk brakes.
A 750-watt rear-hub motor with peak power output of 1,475 watts propels the Ace01 to speeds of up to 25 mph. Thanks to a removable 720 watt hour battery, a range of up to 60 miles using pedal assist mode is achievable.
The Vivi Ace01 rolls on 26-inch fatbike wheels wrapped in 4-inch all terrain tires. An adjustable front suspension fork offers a lockout mode as well as 100mm of travel. Hydraulic disc brakes are paired to 180mm rotors and the ubiquitous Shimano 7-speed drivetrain is used for gear shifting.
The Ace01 is built on an aluminum alloy frame and weighs 72 pounds. It can carry up to 330 pounds including the rider and any cargo on the rear rack. The rear rack can hold up to 95 pounds. A 12-magnet cadence sensor tells the motor when to kick in, in one of the five pedal-assist modes and relevant ride data is viewed on the digital LCD display.
The Ace01 is available in Space Black, Steel Blue, Olive Green, Silver Grey, or White color schemes and currently sells for $999.99 at viviebikes.com. A version with a rear basket is also available for $1,049.99. It comes in one size, which is suitable for riders between 5.1 and 6.5 feet tall.
