Tenways CGO800S commuter eBike

The Tenways CGO800S is a lightweight step-thru electric bike prefect for commuting and light errands.

Off the bat, a few things stand to about this bike. First is that instead of using a chain, the CGO800s uses a Gates Carbon Belt drive system, which requires little to no maintenance. Another feature that stands out from other eBikes is that the rear light, not only includes turn signals, but also features a flashing safety light, which enhances safety on the road.

The bike’s display is integrated into the stem, providing a sleek and modern look. Navigation cues can be sent to the display from a paired smartphone using the Tenways app.

The Tenways CGO800S is a Class 1 e-bike, which means it provides pedal-assist power up to 20 mph, but does not have a throttle.

A 350-watt rear hub motor helps the bike reach its 20 mph top speed and a removable, integrated battery gives the CGO800S a range of up to 53 miles per charge. The bike is equipped with Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, which are a nice upgrade over mechanical disc brakes.

An SR Suntour front suspension fork is and puncture-proof 700x48c tires help provide a smooth ride. In addition to the rear light, a headlight is also standard. To help carry groceries and other cargo, the CGO800S comes with a rear rack. Optional accessories, like panniers are also available.

The Tenways CGO800S weighs 51 pounds, has a weight limit of 264 pounds and is available in sky blue, midnight black, or pebble gray color schemes. It retails for $1,699 at us.tenways.com.
