Tenways CGO600 Pro commuter eBike

The Tenways CGO600 Pro is a Class 1 lightweight electric bicycle designed for commuting through city streets.

The CGO600 Pro is available with either a Gates carbon belt drive or a Shimano 1×8 drivetrain. The belt drive is appealing as it offers little to no maintenance, but only has a single gear. the Shimano choice uses a standard chain and rear derailleur with 8 gears. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes are standard.

In terms of electronics, the Tenways CGO600 Pro utilizes a 350-watt rear hub motor and 374Wh removable Lithium-ion battery that gives the bike up to 53 miles of range in a single charge. As a Class 1 eBike, the CGO600 Pro provides pedal-assist power up to 20 mph, but does not have a throttle.

Thanks to a lightweight 6061 aluminum frame, the CGO600 Pro weighs just 39 pounds and has a weight limit of 264 pounds. Instead of a suspension fork, the CGO600 Pro comes with a rigid front fork and rolls on 700x45c puncture-proof tires.

Other standard features include a minimalist display, frame-integrated headlight and rear light and front and rear fenders.

The Tenways CGO600 Pro fits riders from 5’4″ to 6’5″ and is available in medium, large and extra-large sized frames. In terms of colors, options include: Avocado Green, Sky Blue, Midnight Black and Pebble Gray.

The belt-drive version is available for $1,599 and the chain version retails for $1,499 at tenways.com.
