The GoldenR dual motor electric bike is the first Puckipuppy bike to feature a front and rear hub motor. It’s name is likely a nod to the Golden Retriever, as all of Puckipuppy’s bikes are named after dog breeds.

The GoldenR’s dual motors put out a peak 1600 watts via one 960 watt and one 540 watt motor, delivering a peak torque of 185Nm.

As a class 2 eBike, the GoldenR dual motor can reach a throttle speed of 20 mph and with pedal assistance can reach up to 28 mph. Hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors provide the stopping power.

A single 48V 20.0Ah battery provides a range of 40-80 miles. Front and rear suspension help keep the ride calm on rough terrain.

The 1×7 Shimano drivetrain and control buttons share the same components as other Puckipuppy models. The product listing declares that the bike has a “brand-new flight interface design, with a high-definition LCD showcasing various data.”

The bike is claimed to weigh 124 pounds and has a weight limit of 400 pounds.

The Puckipuppy GoldenR dual motor electric bike currently retails for $1,999 at puckipuppy.com. It is available in Forest Camouflage, Black and Red, Navy Blue and Gray, Gray and Orange color schemes
