The designers of the Lmacwey 20″ Premium Edition folding eBike included some impressive features such as autoshift and a belt-drive system. Folding eBikes generally fit in the trunk of cars and are popular with riders who live in small spaces such as sailboats or recreational vehicles.
The Lmacwey Premium rolls on 20-inch wheels with 1.25-inch tires. Hydraulic disc brakes provide the stopping power and a hydraulic front suspension fork with lockout, dampens the ride. Instead of a chain, the drivetrain uses a low-maintenance belt-drive system.
The top speed is about 16 mph from the 350-watt rear-hub motor and the range is up to 60 miles per charge thanks to the 36V 9.6Ah seat post battery. The automatic internal gear rear hub also provides autoshifting capabilities.
Weighing in at about 54 pounds, the Lmacwey 20″ Premium Edition has a weight limit of 265 pounds. When the bike is folded, it’s size is approximately 32x18x30 inches.
The display screen connects to the Uqbike iOS or Android app via bluetooth and offers navigation in addition to the standard metrics like speed, distance, battery level and pedal-assist mode. The app is also used to lock/unlock the front hub.
Front and rear lights with turn signals are standard equipment.
