Join Critical Mass Daytona Beach for a fun Saturday bike ride! We’ll kick off the adventure at Reed Canal Park, where we’ll cruise along the scenic paths and around the lake, home to the giant sloth and mammoth remains now residing at MOAS in Daytona Beach. Next, we’ll safely ride to Sugar Mill Elementary for a moment of silence in memory of our fellow cyclist, Shaolan “Lana” Kamaly, who tragically lost her life last year.
Afterwards, we’ll continue to Sugar Mill Gardens, where we’ll take a break and have the opportunity to stroll through the gardens to explore the old Bongo Land ruins—and possibly spot a dinosaur or two!
Once we’ve recharged, we’ll head back to Reed Canal Park to retrieve our vehicles. You can choose to head home or join us at Iron Axe for an after-party featuring some well-deserved food and cold refreshments.
This ride is FREE for everyone, and people of ALL AGES are welcome. It will be a leisurely few miles, and no one will be left behind. We’ll have tools and transportation available for anyone who may need assistance with unforeseen breakdowns. We hope to see you there!
