Florida Polytechnic February Time Trial
February 16
The Florida Polytechnic February Time Trial Series is open to ages 14-99 and all categories Pro thru Cat 5. Races take place on 2/16, 3/16, 4/13, 5/11, 6/8, 7/6, 7/20, 8/17, 9/21, 10/12, and 11/9.
Time Trial/Aero bikes and normal “Merckx” style road bikes are both allowed. In order to qualify for “Merckx” style, riders may not use any of the following items: Disc wheel, Aero wheels greater than 60mm deep, Aero bars, Time Trial Bike Frames, or Aero helmets.
Before each race there will be a structured warm up with Coach Steven Perezluha including course preview, safety briefing of u-turns, warm up tips, pacing tips for race, and wind forecast. This is a unique and valued offering that will significantly help participants perform at their best and enjoy the event.
The cost is $300 for the entire series if you sign up by 2/16/25 (the first event). Otherwise it’s a $35 daily entry; $45 late entry (day before and on-site).
After each race will be a coach-led 30- to 50-mile group ride.
